    S'habiller est un acte de création. The Andy en fait tout un art. Sa silhouette graphique et affirmée attire les regards, jusque dans les endroits les plus ordinaires. Elle ne cherche pas à se faire discrète. Elle s'affiche. Dans une galerie d'art, à l'épicerie ou ailleurs, certains visages méritent décidément un cadre à leur mesure.

    Chaque monture est taillée dans l’acétate de cellulose Mazzucchelli 1849, fabriqué en Italie par la même famille depuis six générations. Elle bénéficie ensuite de plusieurs jours de finition et de polissage à la main. Une âme métallique souple permet d’ajuster les branches à la forme de votre visage, tandis que des vis de précision en acier inoxydable assurent la solidité des charnières au fil des années. Ce ne sont pas des lunettes que l’on remplace. Ce sont des lunettes que l’on garde.

      I looked long and hard for frames like these. I appreciate the contemporary classic shape coupled with thoughtful design updates: streamlined proportions, and the great translucent ochre-yellow. The color and style have personality and presence without dominating my face. I’m a painter, went to grad school for my MFA at the age of 65. People my grown childrens’ age (30’s) and younger (20’s!) ask me where I got my glasses. Completely delights me every time :)
